Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) solder the wire ?

I'm probably going to take the fall again after my vp-44 change last month. I think I've decided to solder the wire for the upmost safety. Do you cut the pump wire and strip both ends and re solder it or just try to pull the jacket back and solder it that way?



Any photo's would be great!

Thats what i did

Same here, I used a hot glue gun instead of tape for insulation.



Never a problem.

WEll I just soldered the wire. It is nice to have the power back Lets hope my new VP-44 likes it as much as I do

i knew it wouldn`t be long... ... hard to drive mine without the box on.

thinking about havin a BBQ this summer ,would like to get some injectors in my truck ... ... ... maybe a tinkerin party
