What Convinced You To Go With Cummins?

Naw, Big Hay and Big Straw are not the problem, it is Big Diaper that will get you in the end on this one!

LOL! That's true. You should see what the tree-huggers do to ranchers where I live. Constantly going after them about their cow-pies being in the wrong place.

That brings up a fascinating point. How expensive would fuel need to be to make riding a horse economical? Or is it already? I mean, a horse needs to be fed, housed, and cared-for.

Imagine if fuel got so expensive that governments started allowing people to ride horses to work!? Imagine all those horses out in the parking lot tied to posts. Imagine all that horse poop! Wow, what a culture change that would be!

I work about 15 miles from home... how long would it take to cover that by horseback? I suppose bicycle would be faster.

Using Horses

Where I live is a big Amish community, and they do their traveling by horseback, but have a big problem with the cars and trucks on the roads, even though the shoulders are very wide, the speed of the vehicles, inattentiveness of the drivers, makes life difficult for them at times.

And to answer the other question, at the hitching posts around town (just about every business, parking lot) the manure can pile up!!!!
