NO gloves, hand in mouth of a sedated bear..... + just the fact that they did it... = stupid. Sorry, no way to figure around that one... . 1+1=2, but I just had to deduct ALL their IQ points... . In the name of research??!?! What about the kids without food right here in the States!??!? Oh, man, this country's priorities are FUBAR..... :(

Ya all the money that was spent on this was amazing. The Packers donated our time and efforts. (WATCH THIS START SOME I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER) Its a write off for next tax season :-laf of the 3 sets of packers and their stings not one cent was taken for their feed, time, transportation. Vets donated their services. The governing agencies were there AT WORK. There were college degree's to help get moving in the right direction. And even our spiritual guide came along and left his flock to fend for themselves (told them it would be a good show of faith) FIL donated all the meat for meals,SIL that runs a dinner in town donated the flour, backing supplies, and spices. And all of the people that came did so on their dime.

SOME EVEN MADE NEW FREINDS

The only thing that bothers me about any of this is that I think I lost some trust from my Mules. They have never had to worry about me putting them in harms way. And I dont think that they actually got a visual on the bears I took great pains to bring them in from a direction that they couldn't see. Hook them up and preform the task and lead them away before they could see. But they knew something was up the bear had been in the den for about 7 months the SMELL IS NOT TO BE BELEIVED. I have been to MANY places in my life that had a bad smell. But this was out of control. And im sure that the mules knew it as soon as they caught wind of it ,ears up eyes wide open and all jumpy ever had a 1400 pound mule try hard to be close to you?;)

There are better words than "Brave" to describe what these guys are.

I wont go there if these boys catch wind of me saying something they dont like WELL THEY GO INTO BEAR DEN'S Do we need to go any further with that idea. I dont think that they are fearful of a one legged old man. On the other hand one did ask if I could shoot that gun I carried pretty well. THE WHOLE FAMILY AND THE PREACHER SAID AT ONE TIME YES!!!! YES!!! HE CAN He gave me a look and a ;)

Naw, those mules will be fine, I'm sure. No one was hurt, no skinned legs or noses, so they should be fine. They're probably jumpy from a run-in they've had earlier... ... . And yes, I've had 1400lb animals try to get close..... Lost some toe-nails from it!!! They step on your boot, but you can't step away, and they keep stepping!!! Gets real interesting when I go to clawing on the saddle trying to stay upright, and putting another knee up into their neck or belly!! :D

Smell of a bear will drive just about any of them up the wall. It's a predator, and they know it... . Mine figured out early on that I was more of an apex predator, though... ... and when that reciever cycled, it was time to stand still and let me do my business.....
