Some guys tried to pass my old truck in their ford going up a steep grade

I was climbing a steep grade on a mountain road In the Sieras when I came to a long straitaway with a passing lane. I started to pass some people and this Ford pick up started tail gating me. I guess they thought my old Scout was in their way. I started accelerating and they tried to keep tailgating. It was a pretty steep grade. Well I just kept pushing farther down on the endless power peddal and pretty soon they were way behind and scratching there heads about how the poor old IHC scout could have done that. I hit about 85 MPH going up that grade. I had my highes EGT reading yet. 800 deg. in the down pipe. This old pick up sure is fun in the mountains. Simply Amazing! How did you fit that monster in that little truck? You must have done some heavy mods. looks great! Lots of luck with it.
