Archived Some Ideas required

While installing the BD external trans filter one of the required steps is to remove the return fitting from the trans. When I attempted this the brass fitting that screws into the aluminum case promptly broke off flush with the trans case. I have tried a tapered easy out with no good results. The stem inside diameter is probably about a 5/16 inside diameter. Anybody have any ideas. Apparently the thread sealant from the factory was not meant to be removed.

Easy out and breaker bar. It was the only way I saw it was going to come out. The downside is I think that method cracked the case as it leaks in the middle and top of the return boss now :{. In search of a 47RE empty case now to put all my DTT parts in. This has become an expensive filter add on. Found a case but it states 96-98. I thought all 47RE cases were the same, Hopefully they will answer the email and tell me it will also fit a 99. I am not completely sure otherwise I would have bought it when I saw it. I also have a call in to Fred Swanson, he built it.
