Come on Merrick, its easy to split a 5. 0 block. We split a ford 390 one night at the mud hole. It didnt split front to back, but side to side. Something about throwing 5 rods, and having no oil or anitfreeze in it after the first rod went, only thick muddy water. But it still ran till the block came apart. You dont even want to know what we have done to a 4. 9.
