Some leakage around lift pump ???

I'm one of those who don't fill the fuel filter before install. I have never been able to do it with making a mess. So insted I just manually prime it my self. I noticed that there was some fuel leaking when I operated the manual button to the lift pump. I did check the lift pump pressure and did have good pressure.

My lift pump was also leaking, however had bad fuel pressure also. A new lift pump brought the pressure back up and stopped the leaking. I would just keep an eye on the pressure..... could be the your lift pump is on its way out.

There is a weep hole drilled into the side of the lift pump. If fuel is coming out of it, its time for a new one. If yours is the original, its probably shot.
