Here are some photos taken at Carlisle today. First is an F 1350 built on a Mack 6X6 chassis.

Next is the turbo on an Eco Boost. Third is a 6. 7 Ford with the head removed. Fourth is the 6. 7 cylinder. Note the 4 pushrods per cylinder and the lifter that pushes two pushrods. Last is the 6. 7 Turbo. Nothing for nothing, this engine looks better than either the 6. 0 or 6. 4, which was really complicated. I'll get some more pictures tomorrow, showing the 6. 7's two water pumps- one of which requires disassembly of the front of the engine to change.

Where a bouts in PA is Carlisle at? I've heard about it in the past but never been.
 
Carlisle is near Hershey and Harrisburg. Where I78 and I81 meet. Huge fairground with many car "marque" events all year. HOWEVER. IMHO the truck show in all of Pennsylvania worth going to is Macungie. You won't see anything new there unless its from Mack.
 
Here are some more: First is the V6 Eco Boost valve train. Second is one of the water pumps on the 6. 7 Ford. The passenger side WP has been removed. It looks relatively easy to change. Third is a 68RFE. Fourth are four trucks owned by a cesspool and trucking company in Laughington PA. They are all 2012-13 Petes. That must be some good business. Last is the ISX 600 in the tractor. I have a few more pictures to go.

Here are some more photos: First and second is a '93 2WD Ramcharger repowered with a 6BT and a Getrag. Absolutely perfect job as you can see. Third are the compound turbos on the CAT ACT 13 engine. I don't know if that's a CAT engine or the brainchild of their deal with Navistar. Fourth, the CAT vocational truck. And last, how long do you think it would take to do that water pump with the engine in the truck? The pump housing is behind the pulley and goes down to the oil pan line. The 6. 7 also uses dual thermostats.

The bad news is that it's about 45 minutes from my house, so I have no excuse not to go. Here are the last of the pictures. First is a modded 6. 7 Ford. Note that the EGR cooler has been removed. Also not visible in the picture are the beautiful custom made exhaust headers that feed the turbo. Next is the portable Dynojet. Most modded trucks were in the 400-550 HP range. What really impressed me was a stock 1500 with the 5. 7 hemi, it blew a 314 HP run, and let me tell you, that engine really screams. Third is a C15 CAT in a show truck. Fourth, the day wouldn't be complete without crushing a couple of cars. The truck is completely airborne in that picture.

I just re-read your post, Wayne. Carlisle is south of Harrisburg, exit 45 off I 81. Harrisburg is in the 60's and I78 is exit 89 IIRC.
 
Here are some pictures from the Corvette National show at Carlisle yesterday. The new C7 is quite a piece of work. It's hard to imagine that the same company that made so much junk 30 years ago could come up with something like this.

Note the transmission cooler at the left rear wheel, and the oil reservoir behind the RF wheel in the last photo. It uses dry sump lubrication.

A few more pictures: First, a final shot of the C7. Next, a Tremec 7-speed manual trans for a conventional drive train layout. Last, the LS7 engine. Not bad for a 2-valve pushrod engine.
