He sings around our campfires and just about anyplace that will let him without throwing beer bottles. He always relates to that part of the Blues Brothers Movie in a Redneck bar.

The one Saloon that he occasionally takes me to isn't very much different in atmosphere than this, its pretty RAW!!

I stumbled upon Sirius 350 Red White and Booze. Really like it. It's a mix of Country with Classic Rock. I have a hard time with this Rap/Country CRAP!

Mark Knopfler the guitar soloist and lead singer was a punk, even thou he could play some fine riffs. His ego got the best of him when
Pick Withers the drummer stole the spotlight and Knopfler caned his XXX for it. That's the problem with the talent of today IMO. I'm nobody but I sure as XXXX don't think that 90% of the listening public have a clue as to what they are listening to and FOR SURE don't know what it takes to play an instrument. With the school systems taking Music and Other ARTS out of the schools you get what we have NOW. No talent hacks that are praying on other non musical educated morons that think because the music is so loud that its good. When in reality its just covering the fact that Jason Aldine CANT SING or like Taylor Swift, do you EVER THINK SHE WILL SING A GROWN UP SONG? or at least get one that's ON KEY!! again the public think she's cute and buys it hook line and sinker. We cant blame the Artists they are a Bazillion Dollar asset to the record companies.

Lady Antebellum, Hillary is the show always has been and Charles Kelly went out on his own and shouldn't even be in the Country Venue. There are more that split to try a solo career and FLOPPED. The ones in country that make me want to puke are the Squeaky voice chicks of which there are MANY and the BOY BANDS gone Country What a Joke.

All this is good and fine but its only my opinion

Really Grizz you should broaden your interests there are lots of fine singers and musicians out there to enjoy.

I agree that the newer Male Country singers all sound like hound dogs...... You have to admit the new Country Female singers are really Hot. Might not be June Carter but they are easy on the eyes an ears.

Really disappointed to see a Great go out like that.

Terri Clark was the headliner IMO the others were pale in comparison.

The New female singers really are poured from the same mold, squeaky, nails on the chalkboard voice, not just one but MANY of them have been poured out on the public in hopes that some of them sticks to the wall.

Carrie Underwood is a TRUE disappointment IMO she won some paid for talent show on TV and the problem with her is IMO is that she can really sing!! but elects not to. She's a screamer and is going to pay for that later in her career when all screamers develop vocal cord polyps, ask Tanya Tucker she went from a great talent to a voice that is almost unrecognizable as to what she's saying.

I think that she sings like she does in the country music arena to make money. But what a waste of a voice, I guess money before the pleasure of singing is more important to some.
