The methenol+water combo does many things for your HP diesel engine. The first is that it aids in cooling the charge air. Your turbo compresses the intake air and that makes it hotter, hot air is less dense then cool air, cool air carries more oxygen than hot air. More oxygen=more diesel burned=more power. The Methenol is itself a oxygenate, that is it carries extra oxygen atoms, so when it is added into the intake air the diesel has just that much more oxygen to burn. The water methenol mix also flashes to steam in the intake and combustion chamber. This faze change drops temperature dirastically.
I have witnessed a 40 hp gain at the rear wheels (Dodge Cummins) on the dyno just by splashing windshield washer fluid on the air filter!!
I drilled the head into the intake ports on my 466ci pulling tractor and installed 6 Enderle fuel nozzles with . 016 orfaces. I pump with a 220psi 12V pump that is switched on (at 25psi) with a Hobbs switch on the manifold. In a 18 to 20second run it uses about 1/2 gallon of 20degree windshield washer fluid. THERE IS LOTS OF POWER IN THIS SETUP!!

Here's the one I am beta testing for the 2nd gens.

I have no pricing info. I don't even have it on my truck yet.what do you think a system like that would cost for my 03????

If you read the ad it shows the diesel part number immediately following the gas setup. The Painless Performance link leads to a page for a gasoline engine system?
Other places to look are Snow Performance and Cooling Mist.
just run strait water it is the safest but i melted my pistons on my 06 and didn't really like it. for towing purposes it use way to much fluid 1 gallon would last me about a 1/8 tank. you need a big storage container and i thought it was more like a mild shot of nos. i wouldn't recommend it for a truck but there are guys who love it. just my to cents worth. by the way i really new nothing about it when i put it on and the guy that installed it was a idiot. i think it was dumping in way to much and caused my engine to sputter and backfire. right after i used the system within a hundred miles i got a knocking sound and it was 3 burnt piston.
Something is definitely wrong here.![]()
It will not "melt pistons" if it is done right. Windshield washer fluid is not a proper mix, 50/50 is about perfect.
The system I am beta testing will blow the others out of the water as far as adjustability goes.
