Here are the technical specifications for AFE part number 46-60051: 2003-07 Dodge Diesel Truck L6 5.9L 58mm Inducer/76mm Exducer 104 HP Gain 206 ft/lbs TQ Gain. And the technical specifications for AFE part number 46-60050: Compressor Inducer - 60 mm /Trim: 48 Compressor Exducer - 87 mm Turbine Inducer - 68 mm Turbine Exducer - 58 mm Turbine Housing: 12 CM2. We hope this information helps.

my needs... towing, towing, towing.... stock engine...

I will try ;)
Blade Runner turbo. I 'think' this a moded stock turbo.

Compressor is the intake side, inducer=60 small side of the wheel, where intake air goes in, Exducer= 87 big side, where air goes out.

Turbine is the exhaust side. inducer=68 large side where exh enters the turbo. Exducer= 58 small side where exhaust exits the turbo.

Turbine housing 12cm, is the size of the exh housing. Larger= less back pressure; smaller= quicker spooling but more back pressure at high hp levels. On a small exh housing, dont run these with out a wastegate, back pressure gets to high.

Lets see if i'm right! I dont know what trim is.

Blade runner is not a modified stock turbo. It is a new casting to AFE's spec.It does look very close to stock, using the solenoid to sneak by smog nazi's at test time. For towing with a stock truck the stocker is hard to to beat

RV weighs 13,500 lbs... I need something that will mount exactly like the stock turbo... I also don't understand why the 60051 is $300 more than the 60050... unless there is magic in the turban wheels.... are they describing a special cut?

The 60051 has been discontinued, the 60050 is all they offer now. Despite the claims it evidently did not perform as well as advertised despite the higher price and more work to it.

There are lot of things in machining that can be done to support performance and drive price. The 60050 is just the stocker on a different platform and cleaned up a bit, probably fine for a stock replacement.

This where i got my 62-65 Tater Built turbo, I did a lot of reading before i got mine & i'm well pleased! This is a moded stock turbo. Intake wheel is only slightly larger but exh wheel is a lot bigger. My drive psi [psi on exh side BEFORE turb] is a lot lower with this turbo. It spools well and sounds great! //www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjjjuhY-_w0
$1100 all done. I have yet to read a thread of someone who just dosnt like their Tater... Do ur homework! It is a moded stock turbo, exh housing is on the small side= leave your wastegate turned on, it is needed.
Have a great day!!

I don't speak Turbo very well but I was in a similar boat a year ago stocker had begun to leak and I had to do something I have the pac-brake exhaust brake in the cast elbow and wanted to maintain it. I ended up with the BD super B turbo bought it through BD on Amazon was best price I could find. I bolted it pretty straight forward and has preformed flawlessly. I would probably do it again if I had to. Hope I don't though. Truck used to be our tow vehicle for our horse trailer and it still get the call for it occasionally and does great. I use the truck on the farm moving equipment and hauling hay and preforms well. I hadn't drove it naked on the interstate in a while and I drove it a run about a month ago and had forgotten how fast it would spool up. Makes for a fun trip defiantly responds quicker than my 13.
