Something to ponder

Trying to come up with a plan to accommodate the urge to gather up on Oct. 1, 2005; now that the Texas rally has been cancelled.

What do you think about a 9:00 a. m. breakfast meeting at The Cracker Barrel at the Outlet mall near San Marcos. ( exit 199 or 200) this would allow you to bring your significant other for some early holiday shopping (if they wish). It would also give us an opportunity to meet new people.

There is a RV park very nearby & across the highway. If enough were to want to camp I will too.

Don't be shy-----chime in,with any other ideas if you wish, but lets talk about a meeting.

When talking to other members at the Sept. meeting another idea popped up.

We could meet the next Sat. (Oct. 8th) . After breakfast we could take a road trip down to Boerne; (about 50 mi. ) and take in the Annual Rod Run. There will be 500 or more street rods, custom, & antique cars on display in the main street. Lots of vendors , etc.

I think we need to call this event Jim's first annual family breakfast and campout.



I prefer the Oct 1 date right now. I may miss the morning of opening season, but I can still make it for the evening hunt. Also, I may be headed north to get a new trans the following weekend.

any waco and austin guys up to getting together somewhere in the middle for a day of smokey fun?? im wanting to get some more video and pictures together for yet another short film
