The AM/FM CD radio in my 2006 Megacab SLT operates intermittently. Sometimes, I start the engine andthe radio doesn't even light up. Everything on the dash works, door locks work, no problems except the radio. Later in the day, or the next day, I start the engine, and the radio works fine. The clock is accurate and the presets are still there. I can get the radio to start working right away, I pull the radio fuse (#11 20 Amp) and wait 10 seconds or so and plug it back in. The radio begins working, the presets are all there, but the clock has reset to 12:00. By the way, does anyone know what the white plastic clip on fuse 11 is, and how it can be removed?

Sounds like the radio is on it's way out. From your troubleshooting. Check ebay for used one. Make sure there is a buyer garantee on it

Mine is doing the same except no clock. Did you find a fix or replace?

I had the same problem a few years ago. I sourced it to a corroded ground wire near the right hand battery negative terminal. Repaired the connection and the radio has performed flawlessly for a few years now.

Check the ignition switch also. Had a similar issue you'll probably pull it apart and find some of the wires look like they got kind of toasty at the connection point.
