Sonora Pass opens

Cal trans is opening Sonora Pass this weekend. . a full month early v/s normal. . not sure whats up on Tioga yet. . nothing in report. . but it can't be to far off. . Hwy 4 Ebbits Pass also opens this weekend... Guys if you have not been over these pass in early mountain spring its worth the trip

Be great to come back from MM over Sonora pass. Maybe we can continue the party at Dodge ridge. Just impgine all them trucks and trailers lined up there in the parking lot.

Better yet let's drive over Tioga Pass thru Dodge Ridge over to Willy's and on to Grants Pass to watch some Boat racing.

I'm with Bpine, remeber HVAC we have trailers and Sonora is not a trailer friendly drive at all. Craig and I are also thinking about heading over to June Lake after MM, beautiful this time of year and there are lots of places to go play with the trucks in the mountains.

Bombero, It is on 149 between South Fork & Lake City. I think they call it the "Silver Thread". It is in the San Juan's kinda between Gunnison & Wolf Creek, depending on which way you are travelin. You go thru Creede on 149 to get here. #ad

You guys are right, Sonora pass is no place for trailers. Darn nice scenery though. It would be cool to cruise June lake. Rent a canoe. Us retired guys have so many options #ad
