This "sounds like a miss" never happened prior, just started over the last 4 - 5 months or so...

A bit of info: Old style Edge = 5 settings w/5 sub settings in each, Mach 5 (200hp) sticks, 64/14 QD turbo, S&B Air filter/box, 4" down-pipe through 4" Magnaflow system w/straight-thru muffler, DTT auto, 3:55 rears, 285/75/16 Michellins, SO VP from Thoroghbred Diesel 3/09. Around 2010 sometime I replaced the stock crank dampner with a Fluidampr. No head studs, but no visible leaks either?

Here's what's happening: Doesn't matter what setting the box is on, whether from a stand still or going down the highway - go pedal down and away we go... . As the power is aproaching peak there's a ba, ba, ba kind of stumbel but she's still pulling?

I don't think the waste gate is openeing, (set to deliver 40-45#) or the rev-limiter is coming on? Sorry but I forget what the RPMs are when this happens - but I know for sure this never happened before?

Could the IAT be dirty? The sticks are going on 6 years old and it seems to produce a bit of a haze when at a light that clears up when I get rolling. Could it be time to "freshen-up" the sticks? I have silicon boots on all the air charge connections and if I'm at low boost and floor it the smoke clears up once she "kicks-in" and takes off.

It's not a real deterrant, but more of an anoyance and since it never did this before I'm wonding what's up? I don't "romp" on it as much as I used to, but I'm not known for "putt, putting around" either. I don't think there's anything going on with piston tops as I don't let it linger long once the EGTs hit over 12-1300*

I'm just a bit concerned as I'm just at 200,100 +/- miles, I take great care of my truck's mechanicals (change the oil every 3-4k miles, change fuel filter ever other oil change, use PowerServe or DieselMate additives "every" fuel-up, clean and re-oil air filter, and etc. ) and I plan on keeping it "Forever", so I don't want to hurt anything. Any ideas are appreciated.

Any codes? Usually a good indication of something amiss. I would also recommend completely disconnecting your Edge just to verify thats not giving you your issue. Turning it off may not do the trick, better to disconnect. Programmers do malfunction from time to time.

VP's stumble/miss exactly the way you described when they starve for fuel. What is your fuel pressure doing at the exact time it's acting up?

Will unplug edge, will throw code for over boost possibly?

Have not gotten a check engine light and no codes when scanned.

Fuel Psi is always 20-22# regardless of Go Pedal Position = walbro pump w/psi regulator set to deliver 20-22# "and it does". Psi sender connected post reg valve, on delivery to VP line.

Answer to question what is fuel psi doing when stumble/miss = 20-22#

Thanks guys, keep them coming.
