Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Sounds like a miss.

Wouldn't you know it. I get my truck out of the shop last Friday--it was there 30 days for KDP fix--and now I've got injector problems. The truck is missing. It's got compression, but it's missing on at least one cylinder... just one cylinder. Any ideas? Is it back to the shop we go? Could it be a valve? Thanx. Jim

It's a broken push rod! Believe it or not. The service manager said he's going to replace them all. He said he doesn't want me back next week. Now, when they repaired the KDP problem, they were into the valves; they had to get the cam shaft out. Service manager said the parts are local. I should have the truck back tomorrow afternoon.



The service manager said the push rods are three piece. What did he mean by that? He said a weld broke on one of them. They're welded push rods. Jim
