The chrome on my grill shell (or whatever the main perimeter section minus inserts is called) is peeling off, getting larger at each car wash, so I'm looking to replace it. Went to local dealer yesterday and was quoted about $400 plus tax for that section of the grill. Got on the internet and it appears that one can be purchased for around $175-250, probably after-market. Anyone out there had any experience with non-OEM grill parts and a good source for same? I am wondering if one can expect a good fit and finish or not.

Thanks Adam. I just checked it out and they appear to have what I need but price is too good to be true? We'll see after a bit more investigation on my part. Appreciate the info.

you also might want to do a search on the internet for "rock auto discount code" you should be able to find a code for at least a 5% discount.

Thanks to everyone. I went to Rock Auto and got a aftermarket one, identical to OEM, pristine and unblemished. Price including shipping was $63 and delivered in two days. On the truck now and looks great, perfect fit.
