I would like to find a source for a connector and contacts, or an assembled connector with pigtails, that can be plugged into the lift pump wiring harness connector on an "01".

I'd want to relocate the lift pump closer to the tanks without having to cut-up or splice to the engine wiring harness.

Try Cummins Northwest in Anchorage or any cummins engine parts place (freightligner shop, etc) should be able to get ya one... the part # is 4025182 and they run about $9. 00 if I remember correctly. I have one sitting in a box awaiting summer so I can work on the truck in the driveway.

We (Anchorage guys) have a TDR club going... your welcome anytime.

JR2,

It was my understanding that the pig tail your are refering to was need for the early model 24V trucks to adapt their lug terminated LP wiring harness so that they could use the newer model LP that has the connector in the bottom of the pump.

Is the cable you have connectorized on both ends, one end male the other endfemale, and will it plug into itself?

If so how long is it?

Would I contact you via PM to followup on your local TDR club?
