2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Source for NEW dash plastic parts

Any of you know of a source to purchase all of the plastic pieces of the dash for the 94-97 and 98-02?

I have 3 of these trucks and am starting to have structural failures on two of the three.

When will someone step up to the plate and produce these parts???



Please reply if you have any interest in being able to purchase these discontinued parts.

I haven't tried the LMC dash yet. I've heard from one it's great, and another said it didn't fit for crap... ... . I've been gonna try one. I've also been trying to get Coverlay to produce one. They sell the dash covers, so I don't think they want to make a whole dash so they can sell the others... ... Which are easy to install and still look pretty good, especially for the cost and labor... ... I've bought quite a few body and interior parts from LMC for older Fords, and they've been nice to talk to over the phone, and the parts were mediocre to great. Their door panels leave a lot to be desired, but you can't get them anywhere else.

I found the same thing HH on the Wife 72 Chevy the body trim was iffy but the window dusters that the side windows rub as they go up and down in the doors fit prefect stoped all the rattle and wind. As did the dash top and the instrument cluster face the plastic chrome wore off.

I am looking for plastic frame.



Every truck I have replaced the dash top in have also had cracks in the cheap plastic frame work. One of my 01s and my dads truck (also 01) are starting to crack along the outer sides by the doors. :{

LMC has dash overlays, and fascia pieces.

I would appear LMC has the Dash replacement for the 98-02 (LMC Truck Parts - Page 93), but only the cover for the 94-97.

I've heard and read that Geno's has one that works and fits very well, plus the plastic is uv resistant. I'll be buying one before to long myself.

That dash top on the LMC site looks good. But I would still like to be able to buy the stuff under the dash top.

Geno's has a full replacement dash for 2001. I had to have mine replaced as well and it fits perfect. But I still havent found someone that a has a replacement bezel. I bought the bezel cover from Geno's but its a completely different cover and needed to be cut abit to fit.



Unfortunately i know on the 2001 all of these trucks will eventually have the same problem due to a poor mixture of plastic upon original assembly. Do not buy the dash cover I have heard horror stories of the dash cracking underneath and starting all types of electrical issues.
