2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission source for new Sanden AC compressor?

Where's a good place? I want a NEW, not rebuilt or reman unit. The clutch is shot on the present unit, 160k miles. I also need a drier and may possibly swap the condenser and evaporator while I have it apart. A friend decided to 'help' and put sealer in the system (which wasn't leaking!)... I'm hoping I can get the evap, cond, and lines cleaned out.



Heading out to the shop now to put it on the machine and see how bad it is...

I've run across several

I've run across several on ebay. They will generally specify if they're new or rebuilt. The rebuilt ones will many times be repainted, new ones are usually not. You might start there & see what you can find. They're pricey but you get what you pay for.
