Does anyone out there know of a good source for just the glass mirror (not the entire assembly) for the tow mirrors? I just need the big glass on the right side - everything else is fine. I've tried a bunch of on-line resources and the local dealers around here, but everyone is telling me that they only sell the whole assembly and not just the glass.

Thanks for the help.

Any good glass shop could cut you one or if you can find a good glass shop that has the connections they can be ordered. One of mine had fallen off and I went to a shop and they ordered a new one for me, less than $20 installed. Then I broke one and that shop had closed, so I went to a different shop and they made me one. Works just as good but it ices up easier than the other and holds a frost pretty good.

I went to the autoglass place by the house for mine. Be happy its the big glass the little mirror was twice as much. I think it was $35 or something

Yep, local glass shop should be able to cut one out for you. Shouldn't be much more than $20 if that much.

I had one made a couple of years ago.

Nice find Thomas I've been looking for an online source for quite a while, these guys even have then convex spotting mirrors.

Mirror glass

And if you look at this page you can get the heated glass to add the defrost function to non-heated OEM tow mirrors - I have no idea if it's worth it or not.

Thanks for all the help :) - I'll have to call up one of the retailers that are in my area. Too bad I just couldn't get the part on-line. I figure I'll just go with the standard one - I don't think that the heated one would work without spending a weekend on it trying to hook it up. Thanks again for all the help.
