South-Bend and DD2s installed

Hey all,Will finish hooking up the trans. tonight. Can't wait to try them out. I've been diesel free for a week now,will go on a big time binge tonight . God I miss my truck. Injectors were easy,probably the easiest set I've installed in a diesel. Trans. and clutch were pretty straight-forward. I've got some pictures of my old clutch(ripped the center out of it),and my stacks. I'll post them when I get them back from Wally-world. Doug

Those of us with stock clutches, and injectors are extremely jealous of those of you who install SBC's and DDII's... Please post pictures.....

BAAAD!

Hey all,I got her back together and you guys were right about these injectors. The truck simply HAULS A*S . A lot more black smoke out the stacks too . Me and my brother in law are working on the pics. We've got to edit the size down on them. Also the first time I took it out with the box on level 3 the clutch was slipping. I thought "OH SH*T,WHAT NOW". I babied her back to the shop and read the slip of paper that said"clutch slippage is normal upon installation,drive agressively but don't over slip the clutch". I usually do drive"aggresively"anyway and after a few miles the clutch is fine. You guys were on the money about the S. B. clutch too. Thank all of you for the advice,and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS. I hope St. Nick brings ya'll some Bombing goodies. I think I've got new 5" stacks coming . Doug

Yea Don,I'd say I've got the bug for sure . You guys are a bad influence on me . I hadn't planned on the clutch Bomb right before Christmas. Oh well it gave me the excuse to put the South-Bend in. This is all the Bombing I'm going to do,I swear . . I had a guy in a chubby gasser want to race me the other night,lets just say all he seen was Ramhead tailights as I blew by him at 95 m. p. h. .
