Just drove my 03 HO 6SPD home from having a SOUTH BEND CLUTCH installed... ..... what a HUGE difference! Nice, very nice. KUDOS to PETER for his input on selecting the right clutch and the way my truck now drives. The engagement is waaaaaaaaaay better than stock and the "Clang-Clang-glang" while idling in neutral is completely GONE! You da man... thanks for all your help>>>>>>>>>

Which clutch did you put in, any mods?

No mods "YET" MU1947 CON-O



Clutch is made to handle 350 HP and 750 ft pounds/torque. I plan to do:



exhaust (4")

afe

injectors



I'm nervous about doing any "BOXES" as I'm not too sure they've worked all of the bugs out of them... (fuel rail pressure is ALREADY screaming high) Once they get the TIMING boxes "Dialed" then I might consider one... ... ... ... .

rail boxes dont exceed stock pressures by to much they get you higher faster. on the ez on level six which is above what ez claims people have sent their rails into limp mode. so go with an ez on level 4 i have not heard of one problem. common rail can kill, be careful. 20Kpsi is not skin or bone friendly

I don't think you will ever find customer service better than South Bend Clutch. I had the Con-OFU (?) (the semi-organic one) in my '01 and it was outstanding. I had some issues early on that Peter helped me through.



I would heartily recommend them to anyone with a manual transmission!!!!

where to buy and how much $ install?

Got a 6 spd 03 HO with EZ so I know that it's going to be an issue soon. How much does it cost to go with a South Bend and quality install? thanks Billy Adams

Call PETER at SBC and he'll fix you up. My clutch was $750 (Shipped from SBC to Seattle... and it's heavy to boot)



A quality install will run you around $400 bucks. Mine was zero for the install because DODGE was going to put a newer (revised) plate in to fix the NOISE.
