I called last week and talked to Mansel at Southbend clutch. I asked him if Peter had gotten the Aetna T.O. Bearings in yet. He said yes and how many do you want? It came today and looks good. I also looked up the company, Aetna, and they have been around for a LONG time. Their bearing is a real stout build where the balls in the bearing are sandwiched between the two hardened grooved bearing plates. It is not somewhat tapered like the other bearing was.

Very nice. I am impressed by any company that responds to customers like SBC did with this issue. It speaks to the influence of the TDR and the dedication of its members, as well.

They charged me $45.00 It appears to be the same as the one Timken sells that says Aetna also. BEST part is that it is a quality, USA bearing and has good high temperature grease in them.
