Not sure what kind of clutch I need. I'm making 404 rwhp and 781 torque at the rear wheels not corrected to sea level at about 3000 feet above sealevel. That comes to 448 rwhp and about 840 torque at SAE corrected. I'm planning on jumping on the TST box as soon as I can. I'm thinking it should put me at about 500 rwhp and close to 1000 torque not corrected to sealevel (not sure I like SAE corrected). I will mainly use the truck for work during the week, and for the strip on the weekends. The strip is real hard on a clutch, 4x4 launch and WOT shifts. I like a clutch that will release nice and clean, much easier to speed shift, not sure a dual disc clutch will work for me. I've been looking at the South Bend MU 13-1. 25 Con FE, but I'm not sure it will hold all the 4x4 launches and that darn 3 to 4 shift. I'm a bit worried about the 1 1/4" input shaft on my trany.

My clutch is slowly going away, no more drag strip until I get a new clutch.

Have you talked to Peter at South Bend Clutch? He will recommend the product you need for your application, and won't try to sell you more than you need (I've tried, but he is quick to point out, "You really don't need that. ")

I agree with Rusty. Talk to Peter.

(OK, don't let the fact that he drives an Aztek scare you. He DOES know what he's talking about. :D )
