My new Double Disc South Bend goes in tomorrow!!:D

In a round about way I would love to thank my brother for starting my stock clutch on fire slipping it the way he did!#@$%! Although at the time I wanted to kill him. Thats what you get for letting family drive your truck!

Anyhow, I would like to hear any advice or thoughts on the the SBC DD clutches and how they will drive, what to expect, so on and so fourth.

Can't wait now till I get the cam and turbo installed. Oh wait, that clutch was expensive. Better wait a couple of months!:-laf:-laf

I got the 3250 along with the upgraded hydraulics. I am at the understanding that, after discussing it with the guys at South Bend, it is the lightest duty double disc they make. My mods don't require it yet but will before too long so I figured since the stocker was toast I would get my upgrade done right away.

i've been beating on mine for some time now and no signs of failure. not even a hint of being able to hurt it yet. mine is a 3250lb lever type not a diaphram. sometime gets grabby from taking off in second gear but nothing to be worried about. you'll like it if you want more and more power... .....
