South Bend Luc cluthc....rattling noise

My younger brother just had a Luc clutch on a Getrag 360 installed on his 92 standard cab, by a shop here in Canada. When the flywheel went out for machining the shop said that there wasn't enough material to open up the center hole to accomodate the kevlar bushing so he installed a stock one instead. The machine shop said that there was signs the old bushing had been spinning in its hole as well. He now has a noise at curb idle, and part way into each gear. This noise does not happen when truck is cold started but developes after a few minutes. It goes away as he moves up through each gear, reocurring as he enters the next and so on. He has spoken to South Bend about this and they have tried to help diagnose. The feeling is perhaps the pilot bushing, or the input shaft bearing is the cause. He is taking it back in a week monday so any ideas would be greatly appreciated before he pays more money to go on a rattle hunt. BTW he says he's never had a smoother clutch than this one. It hooks up great.
