Does anyone have this clutch? What are your impressions of it? I'm about to put one in my truck to replace the stock one with 118k on it. Peter said its good for 325hp and a #11 plate is about as far as I want to go, I guess for $375 I can go wrong.
Dang $325 is cheap!!! BUT do you really want to stop at 325hp??? It might be more cost efficient to to buy the right clutch in the first place. Just my two cents.
Some people do not want to take their trucks up to much in horse power if any. We felt that for this group of people, buying a clutch that will handle 400hp was unnecessary and to costly. For the most part they do want a clutch that is is better then stock. Even though we do offer stock clutch kits, we put this together for a good inexpensive upgrade. This kit is called our Rally series and will hold up to 350hp but I would not recommend it if you are at 350hp and pull heavy loads, this is for the daily commute and light towing.
I wrote a short article for another site about choosing a clutch which might be helpful to anyone looking to buy a new clutch.
