Is anonimity appropro when not speaking well of a dealer on this site? Since I dont know the answer, lets just call them "The Dodge dealer that also sells Fords in Cape May Court House". That said, I gave them 2 weeks notice, told them what recalls I wanted done, (trans line & ECM seal), and referred them to the tsb for lack of power in od. There on time, truck sat for shy of 2 hours, 3rd hour passed-"Huh, your build date is 10/03, tsb doesnt apply, but we can do recalls. ". I said- funny, I bought it in 5/03, would been tough if it wasnt built yet. "OOPS, 10/02, OH you do apply". 1 hour later, okay, did the reflash for the trans, "Sorry, no parts for the recall. . you will have to come back. I say, but the trans shifted fine, the recall was a different number. Tech says " It feels like it pulls strong". No trailer on the back . . it should . ANYWHO,,wont go back there. Went to Manahawkin Dodge. They had the parts, took me on time & I was out in under 1 hour, truck was perfect when they gave it back. I will go back, and I do recommend them. ( They saw where the first guys claimed they completed the job).

An excellent example of "voting with your feet". Get bad service at one dealer, never visit them again. And tell everyone you know about it. That's the beauty of the free market system.

I've been to Manahawkin for parts. They parts guy was knowlegable and he gave me a discount. I never got work done there.

OTOH, the dealer in toms river on rt 37 wasnt as on the ball, in the parts dept, or service.

They damaged my truck while in for a recall, and denied it. Once I provided proof (yellow paint from the jack foot on the sidewall of my tire, the one with the large chunk of rubber missing from the same part of the sidewall) they payed.

They didnt offer, nor did they admit to the many scratches they put on my fender while doing the work on the truck.

Kinda pisses ya off... dont it?
