I have an '06 and am in the mandeville area. I am looking to see what service depts you guys bring your trucks to. My truck was used with 5k miles and the previous owner cut off the cat and I have added a pyrometer. I am concerned with warranty and wanted to see if there were any cool service departments close by. I also want to get cab lights added.

i work at the dodge dealer in covington(parts). while this service dept wont void the warranty for what you've described, just know that they dont have a great understanding of diesels (and really don't want too). they will also always ere to the side of chrysler and covering their own backsides. i wish it was better, but thats the way it is.



i worked for the dodge dealer in hammond for 2 years (service) and i wouldn't let the diesel tech there work on a lawnmower without spark plugs in it. enough said.



while i have no personnal experience with the dealer in slidell, i understand the diesel guy is pretty good, but that's only hearsay, and i don't know how touchy they are with warranty.
