hey guys there is a pull in Ripon Ca

NWBombers March meeting?

Myself and RandyJ thought about having a get together here in San Antonio on Saturday March 17th. The plan would be to meet up about noon or so at a resturaunt i used to work at called Acadiana Cafe. They serve cajun food, steaks, and chicken entrees. The parking lot is large so we can show off our toys after lunch. We need a head count by the 12th of March so I can reserve a section of the resturaunt. Look foward to meeting everyone!

Sounds like a plan to me. I'm definitely interested, but don't know yet if I'll be able to show up. When I know something, you'll know something. Were you needing a minimum amount of people in order for this get-together to take place?

If the meeting is on Saturday I should be able to make it, so count me in.
I know there are a quite a few TDR members in the Austin/San Antonio area It just seems as though not many are intrested in meeting!

Bull

We really don't need a certain # of people, we were just hoping for a good turnout. And the 17th of March does fall on a Saturday.

March 17 is the day for the TDR meet at Auge's Dodge in Belen NM, 30 miles S of Albuquerque. You might get a bigger turnout another weekend. #ad

Albuquerque is over 800 miles from San Antonio. Let's see, do I want to drive for a total of 24 hours to Albuquerque and back for a weekend meeting, or do a 2 hour drive to San Antonio and back? ... OK, I'll try to get to the San Antonio meeting.

So far looks like about 5 of us. Hope we get more, I sure like looking at Dodge Diesel trucks! Landshark, are you coming down 281 from Dripping Springs? If so, you'll pass right by my house, we should try to connect and caravan into S. A.

Wish I could make it. I'm going to a trail ride this weekend and so I'll have to work next weekend. Gotta start saving up my pennies for May Madness...
Maybe I can make it next time.

Randy J: I expect I'll be coming down 281 to San Antonio. To early so say for sure that I'll make it (haven't mentioned to the wife as of yet). Let's get in touch a few days prior. I have no idea where the place is... hope someone will post an address.

Hey Phil, where you at in the Hill Country? Don't know when I'll be able to save the money, but I hope to get a Bill K. valve body/torque converter someday. Love to check out your truck after you get it installed.

Landshark, yeah, lets talk a few days before the event. It'd be fun to caravan in though.

Paul, I think we were shooting for around lunch time. I know the resturant doesn't open till around 11:00. Might be fun to get there a little earlier and look at trucks before lunch.

Brian knows the place, and is going to try to get a private room for us, if enough commit.

Glad to see you're all going to make it. Landshark, let me know what time you think you'll be coming down 281 if you want to caravan in. I live just north of highway 306 (north entrance to Canyon Lake), off 281.
