Well add me to the list of satisified Southbend owners. Had it install by Chris at Autowurks in NJ. Did a fantastic job, on time and as quoted by Mike. Smoooooth and clutch is easier than stock was. Thanks guys.

Found that when the dealer replaced the trans seal they didn't tighten the bolts holding the driveshaft completely, might have been the cause of the vibration that had gotten worse lately, on top of that a couple of bolts on the pressure plate weren't tight either. Can't blame that on anyone but the factory, but might have something to do with the stock one slipping.

If anyone is looking for a qualified installer for a clutch, or anything else I would highly recommeng Autowurks.

Autowurks Diesel

Glad you are happy with them, Larry !!! My truck has been to their shop several times and every experience is always positive. Not to mention they are just a great bunch of folks to hang around and talk diesel with.

Mike installed my McLeod in Jan. of 01, no complaints and obviously an expert install.

Chris T. formerly joined the ranks of A. W. D. last year and he is also a top notch Tech, in my book. Chris installed my BD 5's with me peering over his shoulder, trying to soak up as much as I could from his experience. Chris's work is beyond meticulous. Chris also engineered/installed the stack on my truck. Again, nothing but perfection.

I'm looking forward to this spring, with the thought of a custom A. W. D. NOS kit and more of their local Chinese food.

Needless to say but I'll say it anyway, if there is anything that needs either replacement or repair on my truck and if it's beyond my capabilities, Auto Wurks Diesel is the ONLY shop it will see.

Thanks and many returns!!!!

Thank You Larry, and Scott for your generous comments. I have been quiet these days on the forums due to my new extracurricular activity..... trail riding on my new Polaris ATV. I find that the inner peace I reach out in the middle of nowhere ("The Way Out" as Polaris states in their brochures) actually helps me during reality from Monday thru Friday. Scott, I know I'll be seeing you in the woods way before I see you at the shop. I just have that feeling. Thanks once again.
