Attention: TDR Forum Junkies The Southeastern Turbo Diesel Registry will be getting together on the weekend of November 4th and 5th in Townsend,TN. This will basically be a weekend of food, fun, spirits, camping(or motel) and Diesel Talk. All this in the beautiful surroundings of the Smoky Mountains.
We are congregating in the Tremont Hills Campground and Cabins. There numbers are: (865)448-6363 for info and (800)448-6373 for reservations. The campgroung is 15 miles from Pigeon Forge and 18 miles from Gatlinburg.
They have several different options available so here is a list:
Prices are for 2 people, per night(kids 5 and under free)
Section "A":Full hook-up(water, electric, sewer, and cable)
On River $25. 00
Off River $21. 00
Section "B" and "CE":Tents and smaller RV's(Water and electric)
Camp site(not directly on the river) $18. 00
Dump station per use $5. 00
Section "C & "BP"
rimative tent sites(No hook-ups)
On river $16. 00
Off river $13. 00
Add'l charges: (per night)
Extra person(5years and up) $2. 00
Electric heat $2. 00
Day Visitors(each) $2. 00
Log Cabins-1Br. , 1Bath, with sleeping bag loft
2 people $65. 00
Extra person(4-6 bodies max. ) $5. 00
Camping Cabins(12x20 "Rough Cabins")
2 people $35. 00
Extra persons(Max. 6) $2. 00
(has bunk platforms for sleeping bags)
We're trying to get a large group together, so make sure you tell them you're with the SETDR when you register. Not camping? Motels are just outside the campground. You're welcome to 'em!
So, come for the day or stay the whole weekend. We'll have Diesel chat, perhaps a bar-b-queue (or two), and some good ole' Southern Hospitality!
