Snapped throttle cable in Pottsville, PA - help!?

Hello All,

A bunch of us are leaving my place, Mt. Pleasant Pa, early afternoon on Thursday, 6/3/04 and heading to Thunder In Muncie...

If anyone would like to join up with us, please let me know and we will wait for you, or meet you somewhere on the trip. We'll be jumping on Route 70 in New Stanton Pa, and running it all the way through Pa and Ohio.

OK Andy... go ahead twist my arm a little... alright, I'm in... haven't missed one yet.

Sebek... you won't have to wait for me... :D... you'll have to catch up to me... :D

Can't wait... should be a great time... as usual.

Jeff

P. S. Ed... great to see you back on the board again!!

So Andy, what will be your ride of choice? The Chevy? Maybe one of the classic roadsters? Camaro? Will the red smoky thing be ready?

You just had to ask, didn't you Jeff???:D

The ride this year will be the 12-Valver. The 24-Valver is torn down in the garage. Not enough time to get it together for the trip... This is beginning to be a pattern... :(

I'm stuck with Friday also. Stupid job always gets in the way of fun. If i didn't need money for toys and roof over my head, I swear I would quit :D

I'm in not sure what day either Thursday or Friday.

I know one thing for sure when I get back the first thing I'm doing Monday morning is probably file for bankruptcy. With being out of a job for a little over a month and no unemployment, and hanging out here on TDR you guys sure have helped me a lot to the poor house that is. :-laf :-laf

Well I will keep ya all informed as to what I'm doing.

Let's see..... I made a list of things to get done before the wife and I get to Muncie.

1) Finish the SBC install on my truck so it will actually run there.

2) Take the wife to NY for her birthday this weekend.

3) Be back here for the Memorial Day parades on Monday.

4) Beg for the day off next Friday so I can get to Muncie and not have to Immediately turn back around to be at work on Monday. (Which I CAN'T take off)

5) Cut "several" acres of grass more than once.

Now assuming we get there... ... . after muncie, turn back around and head south to visit Mickey and the gang for a couple of weeks.

Ok now that I've finished my nervous breakdown for the morning... ..... :{ You all have a good one and I hope to see you there.

Aw come-on Gene...

I'll have the black truck so at least you will have a chance to lead the pack this time... :-laf

Hey Andy,

What time are you leaving? Maybe we can hook up the New England crowd with the Mid Atlantic/Pennsylvania crowd and get a real convoy going.

Matt

Hey Matt,

I am planning on leaving around 1:00pm, but you know how that goes at times. Probably more closer to 2:00pm.

What time are you all coming through?

Whoo Hoo! We are shooting for 7:AM from Danbury, this means the Boston crowd will leave before 5:AM! That puts us in Mt Pleasant around 1PM

I think this could work!

Matt

Matt,

Great... Well let me know for sure and we can set up a place to meet. If anything you know where my shop is, we all can meet there between 1:00 and 2:00.

I started a thread for the New England crowd. For sure, the plan is to leave at 7 AM, so let's pick a meeting point where we can park a lot of trucks and stop for lunch.
