:-laf Okay Boys and Girls I'm a beta tester for this new box and all I can say is..... WOW! I can run my extra CB Power. . I lost the old P0111 code I used to get, and the performance is danged good. (Hey... it's a Beta, their working on it as we speak). This box is easy to install (15 minutes ) has feature you would not expect, and can handle at least a 300W amp on your CB radio (SSB Power) with no problems. So far I have NOT found anything overly wrong with this new SP DIESEL box. Not to be too smart or anything, but I just stopped used the SP Diesel Elminator box on my '05 and am now beta testing (again) for their newest box. Just going by the overhead. 14. 1 MPG on the old 16. 5 on the new City driving. For the first time, just after the install at Fall Brawl on the way home I got 20. 7 MPG on High Output (HO Mode) and I'll swear thats the highest I've ever seen on the overhead. Now remember, this is the first tank of fuel with the new box, and I haven't had time to hand calc everything, but it sure looks good from here. SP Diesel ( http://www.spdiesel.com ) is really working on things our trucks are looking for. . I'm a BETA tester for them am I'm really looking forward to what they plan to give me and the production boxes. (BTW Just between you, me and the fence post, they have several features you will NOT find elsewhere).

Hasn't it been said on here 100 times, once you put a box on the truck the overhead is completely useless?

Not to pick on you but, why do Beta testers bother posting this stuff? If the product is not available and there is no information or very limited information what good does it do?

Wait till it's out with all the info on how it works and pricing and then say how great it is.

Sounds like yet another bitter individual that didn't get to beta test. :D People test the products to let you know what you have to look forwards to.....

I'm not going to take sides but my expereince with multiple boxes and/or injectors has been that the overhead is no longer accurate.

I'm just using the overhead as a general thing. I do hand calc, but haven't run a full tank thru yet. With a 2. 6 mile commute to work it takes a while. Just as an idea I have driven from NH to VA and the overhead never even saw over 18. 1 MPG.

thanks for the early review tom.

i for one appreciate preliminary results.

the value of beta test reviews are good for those that are close to buying some type of comparable performance device. they may want to delay their decision until this one is production ready.

i have heard many times "i wish i would have known about that device last week before i ordered (insert name here)"

please keep us updated with anything that is significant about this peticular device.

Box does pressure and allows you to adjust your boost pressure. Also alters down low fueling by bring pressures up faster.

Nope, no scotchlok, thus far. Going to play with mounting today and see if I can find a really good place to put the box. Right now it just kinda floating around the sterring area, but I'm thinking perhaps A-piller. Will have to see what I might come up with. I love field modification projects :D

I for one glad to see someone taking the lead to Bring more info to the Driver. Now Beta testers are sharing their experiences and opinions, it is very time consuming and could be costly. Question are expected but are limited to the Person"s knowledge and experience.

Imills what is the targeted release date.

This is exactly what a 3gen truck needs,When I Dyno in 3rd in lockup my numbers 475hp/852tq, Yesterday at MN/TDR lockup in OD 340hp/637tq,The operator (Byran) comments Truck comes on strong and than runs out of fuel,Even if you look at the HP 340 this should get you to 720tq,it will not without fuel. I don"t know of anyone with feature,If this works SP DIESEL is way ahead of the Game, With Turbo,Power-train,intake upgrades this Tuner could easily get you 500hp... . Now if you can fool the pressure so the injectors match the Pressure incredible amounts of hp could be gained.
