Well, as we can see from my sig I've been a BETA tester for some time. They just in the last week changed that! I'm now a "ALPHA:/Production Tester and OH MY GOD! This box rocks! Yes, you want to get up to operating temps, but... After that this thing makes my truck wanna get up and GO! The HO setting will give the 3rd Gen the ability to make a nice "diesel fart" (black smoke) and still run like you stole the truck. The other 9 setting (FE fuel economy) vs 0-9 (Stock thru OH MY GODS) are working well 0-5 for a low to warm engine temp and 5-9 above that (normal operating temps) are VERY good (Don't run HO much on a stock Engine without asking SP DIESEL) But the HO setting will kick a** if you wanna leave smoke, and the way they have it programmed you will see proformance you have never seen before! I'm now a "ALPHA" tester and I can't begin to tell you all about this box! FP built in Boost Built in Easy install Two connections and ground and your up and running Total install time 45 minutes (my call on that) more or less Oh BTW did I mention Change of programming ON THE FLY! SP DIESEL made a VERY GOOD BOX. I'll Dyno it at Spring Fling and give more info then

I don’t doubt this box rocks for you. But I get the same OMG! Feeling everytime I crank the Edge-Juice/ Attitude up to 5x5. Please go easy on me as this is my first diesel, but seriously every time I get into the throttle I’ve got a perma-grin for the rest of the day, it’s that cool. I can honestly say I don’t want anymore power out of this truck, it is plenty to deal with as is. Good luck with the R&D on your new product though, would love to hear about EGT’s, MPG and so forth.....

I guess the difference is, this box offers a lot of little things that a lot of the bigger guys have left out. And it is way cheaper than them to boot.

Mileage is up, but I ain't run a full tank thru it yet (Kinda hard to calc with the oversize tire too) Just looking at the overhead gained about 1. 5 MPG. EGT's have NOT been a problem even in HO mode (but I only use it off the line once in a while, but I'm afraid I'll break something) Overall it's working quite well.

Do tell what the little things are...

SP's website leaves much to be desired. Spent some time on it and I still dont know which module is available for my '03, or even what the differences are between the different modules. Their prices are comparable to Quadzilla's, and features seem to be about the same.

Without doubt, what are these nice little features? What does it control, timing? Duartion? Pressure? What does it plug into? What's the remote look like? Many questions left unanswered in this thread.

from what i know it mainly a pressure box--i'll get to test the new program for the 555 motor---yes with the modded cp3 and we will see how that goes---with other items installed it should be a nice combo!! Oo.

We are talking about the SIIe box

I have seen the install and have ridden/drove this truck

Fuel pressure gauge is built in the box along with a boost gauge. 2 connections under the hood. One of those is the ground by the hood shock. Very easy install through the rubber boot through the firewall on the driver's side.

#9 feels like it wants to break loose the toyos. Oo.

Ordered mine on wednesday.

Edit: hooked on fonics werked fer me

HO Mode will most likely SPIN tires Japol rode in my truck and saw my Toyo 35" 12. 5, 17" "try" and break loose. Dang near made it :)) Tonight had a "problem heading for home had a hole and stomped on it (setting 5) and it jumped like a kicked horse lite smoke but it got up and went. I can't wait to see what it Dyno's at Spring Fling. Heck, I'm taking stock tires to run as well as my Toyo's!

box also has a fuel pressure limiting setting so you can adjust the max rail pressure. You can also adjust the rail pressure at idle . And the total processor and all fits in a box the size of the TST remote.

I am/was a beta tester for the 24 valves. They did alot of testing on my truck but nothing came of it YET.

They are nice and knowledgable guys, that's for sure.

I needed power NOW, so I got a comp box, but when/if they come out with a box for my truck, I'll be all over it.

What can you stack with these boxes?

Testraub has told me that anything can be stacked with this box.

Any dyno runs or hp and tq #s, or what it will gain you?

We will tell you after the MDTDR Spring Fling on April 29. Level 5 of 9 feels comparable to me as their old box. My signature says 422/757 with that.

It's a pressure box, so personally, I wouldn't recommend running it with anything other than a duration and timing box. I know plenty of people have stacked pressure with pressure. So use your own judgement. Now for the power. As I mentioned before when I was beta testing... ... it has some very agressive tunes on it. Some of the tunes I ran with my TST were quite impressive and the blow offs on my twin system wanted no part of trying to control the boost. I had them set at a conservative 50 psi the day I installed the SP box. At WOT, boost would roll past 50 and peg the boost gauge at 60 psi. :--) :D I am sure it is even more fun now that they have reached a final burn for the tunes.

Does the Hot Juice add pressure? I have heard it adds timing and duration. Some also say it adds pressure. Anybody know for sure, if not I'll call Edge. I'm just slowly mapping out the rest of the performance I'm going to do. Thanks for all input.
