Yesterday my trans temp /pres guage started giving me the yellow flashing warning light for temp. I've checked the book and can't find anything in it to help. I've checked the connections and all look good. The temp readouts seem to be accurate just this flashing light with the little symbol on the lower left side. Anyone have this happen or ideas on what to check for.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve, what's the max temp. that you have the gauge set to ( over temp. setting) ? Is it possible that you exceeded your temp. set point value on the gauge ??? My guess would be that you went over your set point temp. by a few degrees, causing the flashing yellow light.

Scott,

Thanks. I rechecked it and sure enough the OT was set to o. Now all I have to do is figure out how in the world it got changed:confused:

Cool, here's what to do... hold down the red button and switch on the gauge, scroll thru the menu until you find 'ot', then press and hold the red button for about 2 seconds to get to your current set point temp ( you have already been to this point, as you know what your current numbers are), release the red button and then press it momentarily (yes, I'm reading from the manual :D ) to change the value one or you can hold it down to speed up the display, stop at your desired temp. and then switch off the gauge, this will set your new temp. point. Hope this helps !!
