Alan, I just took my 90 degree elbow apart tonight. I had the same concern and a quick call to Brandon solved the mystery. Remove the nut on the back of the elbow and then gently push down on the retainer at the top of the elbow(you will see a plastic piece with a slot on it, I pushed on the outside edge of that retainer). This will allow you access to the three wires that connect to the female interface. The wires are held in place by 3 small screws. Before you remove them, draw yourself a diagram buy looking at the front of the interface(the part that plugs into the SPA coupler) . You will see numbers on that part, just write down which wire corresponds to the number beside it. Then remove the set screws and the wires will pull free. You can then pull the wire harness from the elbow. There, wasn't that easy
