I have been looking into a Spa Technique rail pressure gauge for my 03 and for a friends 04. 5. Does anyone have these and have you maxed the gauge out at 30,000 psi??? The way I understand it the OEM sending unit that your using to get the signal is the limiting factor. Has anyone else changed theirs out for one that will increase the gauges ability?? Or should I even be concerned about doing this??

Well I think we are all waiting for Dipricol Optix to come out with their Rail Pressure Guage. It's going to be the most important gauge us 3rd gen'ers own. More so then EGT and boost in my opinion. As far as this other one, don't think I can offer you much advise as I am not familiar with the product, but I can tell you it would be a good idea to wait around for Dipricol's to come out. Chris

speaking of that... :D

A lot of guys are waiting, and I think we're still on track for Aug 10 ship date. manufacturing lines are unpredictable, esp for first runs. and I will QA the first group myself.

If you haven't already contacted me and you are interested in one of the first group of gauges, PM me or visit URL=http://www.dieselspecialtiesllc.com]here [/URL] to find my email address

I am pretty sure if your using the factory transducer then 27,000 is all the further any guage is going to be accurate. I have the SPA and like it but I would bet if you order one today, the Di-pricol will still beat the SPA to your door. SPA makes some cool guages but damn they can be a bear to get. And yes rail pressure is a VERY nice parameter to be able to measure.
