SPA Thermocouple

Is there any new info on the Mark II thermocouple problems that were reading low? Last I heard they were working on this problem but that's been a while back?

I called SPA directly about 6 weeks ago, and they do have new T/Cs on the market now. Since I had one of the "defective" original Mark 2 T/Cs, they sold me a new one for $40 even, which included shipping to California. Works much better now. Noticeably quicker response, both heating up and cooling down on the gauge



The only issue I had with the new T/C, it uses a two prong spade type connector, and my existing lines were the staggered, bolt together type connectors. I called SPA back, explained the discrepency, and then sent me a new female spade adapter to put on the end of my existing wires to mate up with the new T/C. They sent the adapter at no additional charge.
