Spare Tire Size?

Upgraded to 285 BFG AT and was wondering if anyone knows if a 285 spare will fit under the truck. I don't want to fight a 265 spare If I get a flat somewhere. Thanks Guys.

My 285 MSR fit up in the stock spare location. I just have to set it up on the sway bar before I start raising it and it goes right into place. Fits pretty well with just a little room all around.

I have a nearly worn out 285 BFG AT for a spare and I had to kick and cuss it up in there on my 99. It is going to be fun getting it down. There is no way that a new tire would fit on mine, but most guys report that it fits fine on their truck. Try it and see is all I can tell you.
