At wot I have sparks shooting out my stacks 1300-1500 deg. I know its not good to get this hot but it is only for a short period of time. Never noticed this till I put new injectors in. What is going on, did someone put sparklers in my pipes?

Maybe they should be called flamethrowers not 435's:-laf . How are they runnin for you? Not sure on the sparks, your turbo's not hitting the housing is it?

Ok, few, glad someone elses truck does this. I never noticed it before, I mean this thing relly shoots some sparks, if I can figure out how to post a video I might try it some time. I took the truck out in the country today so I could let loose and try to get my new clutch to slip, and see how my new injectors and water/meth did together, man I am really impressed. Definetly gonna need some more air though, gotta extinguish those sparks!

What about leaky injectors, dripping raw fuel into the cylinder, making it's way out the exhaust eh? Reckon that would make sparks?

sparkets/exhaust

My guess is running too hot , the pistons might be starting to flake apart

and getting heat stress cracks 1300 is too high egts they start to melt at

1500 ,whos says your guage is accurate ?

i did at one time have a loader tractor shoot some sparks but the muffler soon felloff and was full of rust , this only notice able at night

But then on the other hand i got a old 220 cummins that when she pulls hard when warm will throw a 3foot flame out of the stack and it will roast tail feathers of birds if there on low wires or over passes
