Anyone having problems with their front doors buzzing from the speakers? My driver's side door is driving me nuts, even at low volume levels. I know there is a TSB for 2002 DR's to cut off the mesh over the speaker because the speaker cone may contact it at higher volume levels but I don't think that's my problem, I think it is the molded plastic sheet they use to seal the door buzzing with the bass notes. I did take the door panel off and the plastic was buzzing but I didn't see any easy way to make it quit other than remove it or glue it down in a lot more places. I also can't be 100% sure that it isn't something else making the noise when the door panel is on.

If anyone's had this problem and solved it, please let me know.

mine did it too, went to dealer they put in new speaker in drivers door . now once and a while I here pass side vib. and every once and a while the exhaust brake switch will vibrate also. why did they have to make this engine so quiet. I here everything:D

I glued the plastic to the door in a few more places today using butyl rubber sealant (gutter sealant). It seems to have quieted down a lot of the buzzing but I'm going to reserve judgement until I have a few days of riding around to test it out.

As an update, I haven't heard a single buzz since I glued the plastic down better. Much better!

My method was to cut a small slit in the plastic wherever I thought it needed to be glued down better, stick the caulk gun nozzle through the hole, apply a large gob of sealant, and then knead it around through the plastic to spread it out. I did it in about 6 or 7 places.
