Microfiber sale

Geno's Garage to the rescue!

I finally got them on the phone. So my truck is a 2013. For $450 it unlocks what I have in my truck which is probably a 2012 map version. The guy said most dealers will do it for the same promotional price and they can extend a free map update in they choose to do so. That’s what I am going to check into.

They all get the maps from Garmin, so why is RAM so far behind? GM and Ford are not!!!!
Sno, I had a 2013 Cadillac and the NAV sucked about the same as FCA and a friend has a Lincoln and a Ram with NAV and he reports the Lincoln is a little worse.

Not being argumentative, just saying there's room for improvement on all of them, especially with their interactive voice response systems (IVRS).

But all said and done, still use it.

Cheers, Ron

This navigation upgrade is such a rip off. Anyone who has a Garmin Device with lifetime maps knows they upgrade information twice a year. FCA offering a year old mapset is BS. But almost all the manufactures are doing this. Wife's Acura got the upgrade and it didn't have a local new freeway extension that had been operational FOR 2 YEARS! It showed up on the first 6 month upgrade on my Garmin GPS after the extension opened.

Interested. Is there a specific code to put? Did not receive that email or it is a nationwide sale?

There may be other ways, but I created a Mopar.com account that has all the info on my trucks, including maintenance history. I don't get trash emails, but I do get dealer maintenance offers, Uconnect acct, and info. Site has TSBs/Recalls due and performed.

The whole Uconnect and Nav services have been discussed and criticized. The sticker with bed on my truck was $78.8K, so I decided I would use and keep up all the capabilities on this truck.

Anyhoo, hope this info helps.

Cheers. Ron
