Special Purchase: Roadmaster Active Suspension

I've been working with Bob @ Mr. Bob's Distributing on a special price for TDR members for his Roadmaster Active Suspension. You can get more info on it at www.mrbobsdistributing.com with pictures and other info.



The TDR price is $229 SHIPPED (regular price I think is $269 plus S&H).



He also wanted me to mention that he has a new air filter system available... check the New Products link for info on it. It looks like it flows extremely well! He said he'd do TDR members a good price on it too, but I don't know what that is yet.



There is no group minimum (e. g. this isn't a group purchase that requires X number of us to buy before we get the price), so order up if you want it. I know I will!

Rob, please review forum guideline #5. 0 regarding group purchases ( https://www.turbodieselregister.com/guidelines.htm ). There is a section in the classified ad's for group purchases, they are not allowed here in the forums.

To provide members with an opportunity to interact in an appropriate forum, all group purchase activities will be conducted within a new area of the Classified Advertising section: "Group Purchases. " Group Purchases will not be conducted in any Discussion Forum. We respectfully request that these three simple rules be followed:



a. No pricing discussions or group purchase discussions allowed on the TDR Discussion Forums. The discussion of prices is best left off-line in a private e-mail to those with interest as noted in the appropriate area of the Classified Advertisements. Why? Because many people who visit our web site do not want to pay to read solicitations and sales pitches in our technical Discussion Forums.



b. No group purchase or vendor promotion will imply that it has the TDR’s endorsement nor will it imply any affiliation with the TDR.



c. Group Purchases should be just that. If a group purchase if found to be nothing more than a commercial, promotion, it will be deleted.

This isn't a group purchase; I even said so in the original post. It's a TDR special price that he just instituted. I don't know what the length of this special will be; I have an email into him about it.

Clarification

We have reviewed this thread and have decided it should be closed, but we will not delete it at this time. We will, however, immediately post this offering in the TDR Classified Advertisements - in both the Group Purchase as well as Vendor Promotion areas.



When we read the first thread you posted on this topic (Who Would Be Interested In A Roadmaster Active Suspension Group Purchase?), we questioned whether it was something that we should deal with. At that time, we decided that while it may have been "on the line", it did not directly violate the guidelines. This thread, however, does.



The intent of the guideline is clear - we want to minimize commercial solicitation as much as possible on the forums. This decision was based on direct input from users. Whether we call this a "group purchase" or a "TDR special", it is clearly a commercial solicitation.

We encourage vendors to offer Vendor Specials as well as Group Purchases, but we respectfully request they be advertised in the appropriate area - Classified Advertisements.
