Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Special Socket for Dana 70 Rear Axle Nut???

I am replacing my rear wheel seals and checking the bearings... . do I need a special socket to get the rear hub axle nut off the Dana 70 axle?



Or do I just go to Sears and buy a normal, big, honking deep-well socket for one time use???



Any idea on size?



I can always bite the bullet and go to NAPA, I suppose.

yes there is a special socket for the hub nut on the dana 70 i think you can get it at napa or autozone for not much $. kurt.

I believe it is a 2 9/16 ths socket....

and the price was in the mid $20's at NAPA
