I am in the process of getting my transmission rebuilt 
. Friday it will go back for the 5th time 
. The local shop (very good rep) is using a Specrite torque converter. Has anyone had experience with this product? I have not seen it mentioned here. They are also using a Transgo shift kit. That I have seen. I looked at the TC companies web site and they show two TC's for "Diesel Towing", one a single plate, the other a multi. I assume from the cost I'm getting (at least for now) the single. Whatever it is, is shudders and slips in O/D. Any feedback would be appreciated. My feed back is... GO TO DTT, ATS, GOERAND, SUNCOAST, ETC FOR A transmission!!! Don't make the mistake I did and hope that you can get something as good from someone else. Thanks!

. Will probably kick myself for not going with a "name brand" transmission, but what are ya gonna do? If I save one person from making the same mistake, it'll be worth it.
