I feel like I'm better in control today than I was 3 years ago. At least my pay check had an extra $160 in it this time. Yeah, I know I'm one of those rich white collar workers that don't need a tax break.

I'm having a hard time getting behind some of my president's ideas. The whole foreign workers thing has me in a quandry. I mean, with $14+ Billion (with a B that's right) a year going to Mexico from workers here in the states, it is the second-most important aspect of Mexico's economy (oil being first I believe). Why are we supporting them when we have enough irons in the fire? I have no clue how many American payroll dollars are going other places.



From what I know about it, I like what GeeDub has done with education. It seems much better for my kids than the education I got (up through high school anyway).

All of them just love to hear themselves talk. And it IS all talk. Not one of them could come up with a original idea if their lives depended on it. We need more job training? Hey, first we need jobs to train for, repeal NAFTA!!!!!

NAFTA a gift from BILL CLINTON, why would republicans want to undo some of the best corperate bailouts that the democrats came up with? It did pass congress because CLINTON and his cabinet negotiated it, and it was good for business too.

So someone needs to convince the DEMOCRATS that they made a mistake--- Good luck they never make mistakes. If they do make a mistake refer to previous sentence.

If you do not think the executive branch did it check a little document so often ignored by the democrats- called the constition. You might find some suprising things in there.

NAFTA and GATT were 2 of the WORSE things to happen to this country, our workers, and our ability to remain self-sufficient in all forms of manufacturing - and Democrats AND Republicans BOTH share in passage of those - it sure wasn't the Dems alone that pushed it thru!



We keep hearing about employment rates rising - what they DON'T provide, is how many of thse "jobs" are living wage employment, and how many are flipping burgers at Mcdees... .



Meanwhile, we ship the good jobs off to Asia and Mexico...
