Just got through changing brake fluid after installing Speed Bleeders. What a great product ! :D

Where have these things been all my life ? Unscrew the factory bleeder, screw in the Speed Bleeder till it bottoms, open 1/4 turn, hook up a clear drain hose to a jar and pump the brakes till it runs clear, tighten Speed Bleeder - Done!

Got mine at NAPA, part # 675-1565 fit drums and calipers.

JC, what are the proper part numbers for our trucks? I bought the ones from Geno's Garace a year or more ago, and none of them are the correct ones, even though they were supposedly for a 2001. 5 with the 4 wheel disc brakes...

All four OEM caliper and drum bleeders removed from my model year 2000 Ram 2500 are identical. They are 1. 167 inches long with 3/8 x 24 threads.

I replaced them with the stainless Speed Bleeders size SB3824.

Not on my truck...

I dunno if mine were stainless, but they were all the same size and fit both drums AND calipers. They came pre coated with sealer too...

Correction...

Removed previous text.

Both front caliper's and rear drum's used same Speed Bleeder number SB3824.

I was shipped incorrect bleeder's for front originally.

I also like them. Remember, though, that once these are installed a pressure bleeder that bleeds from the wheels to the master cylinder won't work.

My '00 2500 used the SB3824 on all four wheels.

For more information, contact Speed Bleeder at 888-879-7016. Also at www.speedbleeder.com

Does anyone know if the rear calipers are the same part number, SB3824, as the front calipers? I called Speed Bleeder's 888 number and the lady who answered the phone was very helpful but her book only went to 2001 and didn't show rear disk brakes. I have a 2002 with rear disks. I'd really like to get this on my truck, can anyone help, are the front and rear the same size?

Thanks,

Casey

The speed bleeders are all the same front and rear, I put them in my truck when I changed out the brakes. They are the "one persons" best friend. I bought mine from EGR brakes at

www.egrbrakes.com I don't remember the price, around thirty bucks, I think? What ever the price, they are worth it.
