My sincerest Apologies to Bushwakr for screwing up! Just saying!!
What I need is help finding what the servcice manual calls an Adjustment Clip for the Throttle/Speed Control Cable as described on page 8H-10 in the 1992 Dodge Truck Service Manual. Posi-trac, Sure-Grip or Speed Control Cable v Cruise Control Cable. One and the same. I have a 1992 Dodge W350 Diesel Automatic 4X4. Thanks for any and all help, leads, etc. The salvage yards just cut and trash these parts for easier access to the engine and trans for removal. #@$%!
January 7, 2013; Update/New Years Resolution: since I have had but one reply from someone looking for the same part, I am renewing my resolve and faith that either I will figure out a solution or one of the fine members of TDR will have a solution. It has been 14 months since my last post regarding this thread.
March 4, 2013; Still no feedback. Read an older post. Seems that backyard engineering is the only fix at the moment. I have posted on these forums on and off for the past 14 plus months and nothing. These clips remind me of clips used on various appliances. I guess baling wire is next. Engineering creativity is not my strong suit. I would appreciate any positive input. Thanks
